An Update On Book Three + Spin-Off

Hi awesome readers!

So, I know from the hundreds {yes, literally hundreds} of comments, messages and emails I’ve received that you’re all anxiously awaiting the third book and spin-off of the Eva Wilde series.

Please know that I absolutely have not forgotten you, I think about you and Eva every day, asking myself the same question you’ve been asking: when will I publish the third book?

I’m so sorry you guys, I’m still working on it.

It’s going to take a while longer.

I know it sucks, but in my defense, I’m not just sitting around on my butt being lazy. I’ve got a business to run, a monthly magazine to run, and so many other things going on that I barely have time to think lately.

Also, I wanted to tell you that earlier this year, I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, a form of Autism. I’ve had it all my life, but only just discovered it, so I’ve been taking a lot of time to adjust to this new realisation and learn more about Autism. I’m also doing some work within the Autism community now, which is taking up a lot of my time.

Since I shared this news on my Wattpad profile, I’ve been getting lovely messages saying things like “Get well soon,” and “Sorry to hear about your illness.” I know these messages are sent with love, but I should clarify that Autism is not an illness. I’m not sick. In fact, I’m perfectly healthy and happy.

For those who don’t know, Aspergers Syndrome is a neurological condition. Basically, my brain is wired differently than most. Aspergers and Autism affects everyone differently. For me, it comes with gifts, such as hyper focus, a talent for art, and the ability to teach myself new skills quickly. But, for me, it also comes with anxiety {especially in social situations}, and lots of other things that make life a bit more difficult for me than most people.

I encourage you to Google Autism and Aspergers, especially female Aspergers, to learn more about it.

So please know I’m not being lazy, I’m not taking so long to finish the series on purpose, there are just other things right now that I need to sort out before I devote all of my attention to Eva. I know I’m taking a long time, a lot longer than I thought I would, so you don’t need to remind me, haha!

I just wanted you to know that I have good reasons for taking so long, and I haven’t forgotten. I can’t wait to get back to my desk and finish the third book, but I’m trying really hard to be patient with myself while I take care of everything else in my life. If you could keep being patient just a little while longer, I’d love you forever.

Thanks so much for your incredible support, I love you guys! 🙂

Stay awesome,

Jen xo
